Smart Bin System | Smart34 Initiative

Brief: Along with the school's efforts to incorporate IoT technology to improve school facilities, we were tasked to design a smart bin system which includes general bins, recycling bins and the necessary technology.

About: I realized that our school's current bin system could be improved by easing the workload of cleaners and making recycling clearer and easier to follow for all users. Using a pull-out bin, I innovated on the way filled trash bags are collected. For recycling, I designed a virtual inventory system so that design students can share surplus project materials
